Using her distinctive “knitting sand” technique, Mazur binds the recovered red abrasive into a bio-composite, giving industrial waste a new life in the home. Inspired by the sand’s vivid colour and the rolling contours of Australian desert dunes, each lamp turns overlooked matter into a functional form shaped by material and process.
